For Schools & Teachers

I have a genuine Enigma cipher machine, which I think is a great prop for getting students enthused about mathematics, science and history. To enable me to concentrate on writing, I have now hired someone to take my Enigma machine on a tour around schools in the New Year.

THE ENIGMA PROJECT

Claire Ellis has developed a series of talks and workshops that she is taking around the South East and beyond. At the moment she is focussing on Years 5 and 6, but Claire also gives talks for older pupils and even adults.

The Enigma Project section of the website has also been expanded to complement the talks and contains worksheets, lesson plans and ideas for getting code breaking into the classroom.  Also, remember, The Code Book on CD-ROM contains some teaching resources and is definitely worth a look at.

If you would like to make a booking or have any questions about the Enigma Project, then you can visit the Enigma Project pages or you can contact Claire by clicking here.
